Thank you to Beyond The Hanger and The Barbie Room for helping me out with some items of clothing I was seeking for today's shoot.

I'm aware of 4 local babies & their families that are going through some pretty awful health challenges right now.

Please donate to their GoFundMe accounts if you can. The world needs your kindness

Every regular package includes a free print because I want to hold your images in my hand. It's a really special way to end my time with you. I'm so proud of the shots I take for your families. I love the colours, the unexpected smiles, the softness, the experiences we share, and just getting to know your stories. I'm emotionally attached.

It blows my mind that so many customers never choose a final image to put up. 😳

This year, I've been ghosted soooo many times. Galleries unpurchased. Free downloads never claimed. I've even had customers tell me they're not 'colourful' people so they wouldn't be printing a shot. AI. Families & whole industries going faceless. 💔 It's been a weird time honestly, & certainly had me questioning my future. The problem is, I can't let go of how much I value this art, the process, and the gift it actually is. 💛

I'm the biggest advocate for regional businesses using their own photos online.

People connect with people.

Regional folk, especially, know when your images are locally relevant, outdated or plain old stock.

Your photos are a way to build trust from the beginning. Don't overlook the importance.
