Taken this morning (19 October) 5.35am - 6.50am in Altona. What a cracker of a sunrise this morning! Mother nature didn't disappoint. Such beaut colours at Civil twilight and dawn. Brilliant golden hues everywhere at sunrise. Low tide and the Bay was calm. The temperature in my timeline was a very comfortable 14c.

Didn't land a showing Monday night with my morning images but I did tonight. Now and again I will take the opportunity to snap some lorikeets coming in for the fruit and I send them in and cross my fingers. It worked tonight on Channel 10.

Taken this morning (12 October) 6.05am - 7.05am in Altona. Amazing clouds this morning before first light and after. Sunrise gave off pretty pastels towards the City Skyline, they came and went with light drizzle passing. Towards the East of Altona were rain clouds and lovely god rays showing. The bay was nice and calm, with the temperature in my timeline a mild 18c. See less

Taken this morning (5 October) 6.14am - 7.30am in Altona. Civil twilight produced some stunning colours towards the East of Altona this morning. Unfortunately when it came to the sunrise, all colours disappeared and mother nature left us with some boring and dull blues and greys. I spotted a pair of dolphins ahead of me, I managed to get a snap of them (well, their fins), as it was a quick appearance. Bay was calm and at low tide. The temperature in my timeline was a fresh 11c.

Taken this morning (1 October) 5.25am - 7.00am in Seaholme. Mostly cloudy with first light showing a small pocket of colour East of Seaholme. Sunrise brought some light pink hues towards the City Skyline for a short time. After to the South East some golden god rays and rain, with the Bay being calm. The weather was humid with off and on light drizzle. The temperature in my timeline 20c.

Taken this morning (28 September) 5.30am - 6.30am in Williamtown. The Harvest moon still out and shining brightly this morning. Pretty colours for first light, with brilliant reflections on the calm bay. Sunrise on the horizon was lovely to watch, glorious golden colours saturated the skies. The temperature in my timeline was a fresh 7c.
