Thanks to everyone who visited our March Coastal Colours exhibition, it was a great sucess!
We are now changing over for our exciting new exhibition “Grounded in Redlands” featuring 3 of our members.

Coming in April:

A new and exciting exhibition at the Old Schoolhouse Gallery in Cleveland. Titled 'Grounded in Redlands', it features the combined works of artist members Ana Dodig, Peppa Potts and Mike Scott. All three artists are now well established in the Redlands area, and draw their inspiration from the natural beauty of the Redlands Coast and associated islands of Moreton Bay that we all get to enjoy and celebrate every day.

The exhibition runs from Thursday, April 2nd until Sunday April 26th with the 'official' opening arranged for Good Friday 3rd April from 5pm onwards, so please come along to support your local artists and enjoy some light refreshments in the casual environment of the historic gallery buildings.

The Gallery is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm on Thursday through to Sunday throughout the month but will also be open on all public holidays during the month.

I sold framed copies of these landscape prints at the Old Schoolhouse Gallery in Cleveland last month. They ranged in size from 24"x36" down to 5"x12" and the locations are Lake Birrabeen (Fraser Island), Lake McKenzie (Fraser Island), Main Beach (North Stradbroke Island), South Waddy Beach (Fraser Island) and Whitehaven Beach/Hill Inlet (Whitsundays), all iconic Queensland locations.

I was awarded first prize last weekend in the photography section of this year's Brisbane Art & Craft Fair. It's a landscape photograph of a storm gathering over Lake Birrabeen which is a beautiful and totally natural area of Fraser Island just off Queensland's Pacific Coast. Fraser Island, locally known as K'gari, is the world's largest sand island.

These are a selection of bridal portraits from a wedding I photographed a couple of months ago at Tangaloooma Resort on Moreton Island. It was a beautiful day on the beach at Tangalooma and a real fun wedding!
