One of my last Weipa sunsets… and somehow the sky decided to put on a show. 🌅

There’s something about these colours, this coastline and those quiet end-of-day moments that I know I’m going to miss.

So many memories captured here, and this one feels a little extra special as we get closer to saying goodbye. ❤️

Thought I’d share this perfect afternoon down by the beach with this lovely family. Between the vibrant red bauxite dirt and the brilliant blue water, the colours here are just stunning.

My children learnt to surf for the first time here. The instructors were amazing, but I'd say my boys were naturals. We had arrived just after a storm, so there was a bit of wash up on the beach, and as we left, another storm was rolling in. The waves weren’t too large; however, there were rocks and shells beneath the water that can cut up your feet, so it’s best to wear reef shoes here.
I spent my time snapping pictures, just like this one. 🤍🖤
