šŸ”„šŸ§” Some bookings fall into your lap at the last minuteā€¦ and end up meaning more than you expected. I havenā€™t known Chase for long, but I have known his grandparents my whole life, so when I got the call to photograph the baby of the family for his formal, it felt pretty special.

Chase rolled up looking sharp, Liv absolutely glowing beside him, and that VL in the background just set the whole scene. The excitement, the nerves, the proud smiles from the sidelines, the sense that this wasnā€™t just a school milestone, but a family one.

It was an honour to capture their afternoon, a little slice of memories theyā€™ll look back on for years, and another reminder of how lucky I am to photograph moments that matter. āš”ļøšŸ§”

Some families just get me and Reganā€™s is one of them... ā„ļøšŸ’™

A few years ago I photographed her sisterā€™s formal and it was wild in the best possible wayā€¦ Iā€™m talking burnout smoke, revving engines and creative chaos that turned into some of my favourite shots ever. So when they invited me back for Reganā€™s turn to shine, it felt like one of those full-circle photographer moments that hit you right in the heart.

Regan showed up glowing in the most stunning icy-blue dress, with Khai by her side, and then she rolled out not one, but TWO epic rides, her formal car and a Harley that had me drooling behind the camera. Likeā€¦ pinch me. This is the kind of shoot you dream of.

What I love about Regan is that she leans all the way into the moment.
She gives you that soft, romantic energy one secondā€¦ and then the next, sheā€™s perched on a Harley with Khai, wind in her hair, looking like the main characters of their own movie.

To be invited back by the same family, to create more memories, more magic and more of those ā€œonly happens onceā€ momentsā€¦ thatā€™s the stuff that makes this job unforgettable.

Some moments feel extra special through the lensā€¦ and this was one of them.
Iā€™ve been photographing Emma since she was just a little girl, one of the first families who believed in me when this crazy photography dream of mine started 13 years ago. Watching her grow up frame by frame has been one of the greatest privileges of my career.

On Friday, everything came full circle.
Not only was it her formalā€¦ it was her 18th birthday. A whole new chapter, wrapped in purple satin and the kind of smile that only comes from feeling truly loved.
Her parents stood off to the side... proud, teary, soaking up every second of their girl becoming a young woman. And when she stepped out beside her dadā€™s Torana, freshly polished and prepared just for her day, it felt like a moment that belonged in a family album for generations.

Emma, you are wise beyond your years, kind, mature and so deeply loved.
Thank you for letting me be a small part of your story, from little girl giggles to this milestone moment. Iā€™m so proud of the woman youā€™ve become. šŸ¤
Hereā€™s to the next chapter. āœØ
