So I’m taking on Dry July!!

Some of you know how I love a nice cold beer, but I’m ditching it for a month to raise some coin towards treating cancer and cancer research,

I have chosen the Andrew Love Cancer centre in Geelong, as some people I know have used their services.

It’s been a while since Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway has had 15k up for grabs.

No word on the Simpson socials yet, BUT…

It looks like it’s coming back bigger than ever with back to back nights with the G & C Forestry 360LS 5K SHAKEDOWN. Saturday night becomes the C&H Trucking 360LS 15K SHOOTOUT.

That’s 20K if one driver can nail both nights, Thats a huge weekend, What a way to bring this weekend back to the Map as a Major marquee event for Australian Sprintcars at Simpson Speedway

Getting Ai to make Promo posters seems to be a “thing” at this point of time,
What they generally look like is generic Ai rubbish..

The point of discussion goes out to Car owners, drivers and sponsors…

Are you ok to have your car depicted in a way that?
A) Clearly reflects your car
B)Shows your race number
C) Misrepresents your sponsor / a sponsors brand..

Where do we draw the line? It’s one thing to tell ChatGPT to make you a poster with some off looking car that you have told it to..

But it’s an entirely different game when people are using images of your car as “inspired” or “generated from” particular race shots.

Let us know below. Does this need to be knocked on the head before it gets too big?

My opinion - if I was spending 100’s of thousands on my race car and having it show up in “art” that represents a version of my car that can not get the sponsors right and my name was on the car. I would be pi**ed off!!

What can we do about it? Do you think there should be a certain level that people need to stick to when representing the sport?

Maybe I just care to much🤷‍♂️

If you need promotion material made, hit me up I’m sure we can come up with something better than your Ai app can.

⏱️⏱️⏱️Track Record Broken 🏁🏁🏁

It has come to our attention that a nearly 26 year old 6 lap record was broken at Round 4 of the SRA Victoria open SprintCar series back on the 27th December 2025.

Well done to Grant Stansfield on shaving time off the previous record held by Tim McCubbin.

The record was 1:21.26 set on the 12/02/2000 and now stands at 1:19.680.

If you believe you may have broken a record please reach out. Sometimes we don’t pick up on this with all other stuff that happens on race night 👌
