This photoshoot was when Thomas was about 4 months old. His eyes colour still had a hint of daddy’s eyes colour.
So glad that despite the sleep deprivation, I managed to do a shoot for him before this precious memory has gone forever as his eyes colour has changed to chestnut ❤️

I wouldn't be able to make this dream photoshoot without the help of my incredibly talented and beautiful friend Gemma.
It was almost a day work. We went to Flemington market in the morning to get the flowers for the look we wanted.
As soon as we got back to my place, the work began with making flower crown, putting on make up and setting up the bath.
The shoot was about 2 hours of creativity, hard work and fun.
So here they are, the result of our work to create a memory of my transformation into motherhood.
Because how can I remember in 10 years time?

Mari found me through my work for one of her friends. She needed photos to build her website.
I never met Mari before the shoot but we talked over the phone a few times to exchange ideas for the photoshoot. As we are both yoga teachers, were very much on the same page with what we liked to create.
Mari was even more lovely in person and was great to work with.
We couldn't be more blessed with a most beautiful sunset. We were so happy jumping around like kids after viewing some shots with the sunset. So here they are ...

40 weeks pregnancy is too long to deal with insomnia, constipation, back pain, p***c and pelvic issues... but these 9 months are like a blink of an eye comparing to one's lifetime. Will you remember the pain and suffering through pregnancy and labour or will you remember the excitement and joy?
