Ok, so many of you will know that I took a trip to Antarctica with my good friend Carol (no we didn't land) for New Year...

Ok, so many of you will know that I took a trip to Antarctica with my good friend Carol (no we didn't land) for New Years Eve. It's taken me a while but here are some photos for you to enjoy.
We saw, islands, sea ice, icebergs, glaciers, lots of mountains, Mt Melbourne, Mt Erebus (active volcano, with steam), McMurdo Station. We listened to the leader of Mawson Station tell us all about life there, scientists and glaciologists tell us all about Antarctica and its geology. It was weird seeing the new year in with daylight!!! Left at 5.30pm and returned at 7am the next day, tired but in awe of this magical place.
It was a truly wonderful experience....bucket list ☑️✈️❄️🌤️📷
