Patience is probably the most underrated part of sale horse photography. Sometimes you have to make a complete fool of yourself for one good photo… that’s half the fun.

A lot of hard work goes into building a breeding program and today I had the privilege of documenting just a small part of that.

Thank you to Justin and Kate for trusting me to capture JK Cattle Company’s Open Day. It was a pleasure to photograph quality cattle, listen to some insightful guest speakers and capture the atmosphere as visitors looked through the sale bulls ahead of the upcoming sale.

Thank you again for the opportunity and for making me feel so welcome. I’m looking forward to sharing more from the day over the coming weeks. 🐂📸
