Hey all 👋 it’s been a while since I have shared a photo. This year has been another strange one with a new day job, various lockdowns in Victoria and moving house.
In the times I have been able to get out and shoot, I’ve had mixed conditions so I’ve made the most of what I could get. I really hope the next 6 months I can get around The state more and hopefully interstate at some stage.

This one is from sunrise at Port Fairy, Victoria
A beautiful seaside town in the south west.

Hope everyone has been staying safe and social distancing while in lockdown, not too long now where we should be able to travel interstate. Can not wait to venture back to Tasmania, it’s high on my list of places to visit again soon. Where is everyone thinking of going for the next trip?

My latest visit to Perth delivered some of the best conditions I’ve had while there. The morning and evening light seam like it lasted forever!
One this morning, I ventured out to The Blue Boathouse not too far from the CBD of Perth. The morning sun lit up the sky with a glow I have only really seen in the west. A great morning indeed

It’s not everyday you can knock off multiple bucket list shots in a few hours! How lucky can one be?
Clear early morning skies across the bay presented itself with some great conditions and I rushed at the opportunity before the suns first lights washed out the stars. I can not wait to come back here again, this place is gorgeous!

Ever since I started photography, I’ve had plenty of places to go shoot, none more than my home state of Tasmania and especially the Bay of Fires. Located on the East Coast, it’s shear beauty is something that must be witnessed in person, a must on anyone’s bucket list!
Feel free to share 🙂

So happy that Astro season is back and I was certainly blessed that on my recent trip back to Tasmania I had a clear night to head out, although the 3:30am start and trying not to wake the rest of the Fam in the hotel room! Can not wait to venture out on more night time adventures this year, and cross some places off my bucket list.

The current “Big Dry” is so evident when you travel through Country Victoria.
This is Lake Eppalock near Heathcote - if the lake was full, I would be waist deep in water where I am standing. Although we have had some rain in the highlands, we need so much more.

Wow! What an amazing experience to be floating peacefully over Melbourne and it’s suburbs on the most perfect morning. and I were blessed to have the best pilot in Chris who was so knowledgeable and made sure everyone was able to chapter the shots they wanted and to see every vista on the city, and to finish the day off with a best buffet breakfast at the Grand Hyatt - It’s an experience I would love to do again.
Shot with D850 and 24-70mm F/2.8 - handheld

Ever since my first time visiting this location, I’ve always wanted to come back for a sunrise shoot. Checking out all the conditions a few weeks back I took the gamble and headed out. While driving I could see the light and colour starting to appear on the horizon and started to get excited but also worried as I had left a bit late. Arriving about 15 minutes before the sun rose, the colours were starting to develop and stretch across the clouds. This end up being an amazing 20 minutes and well worth the drive.

It’s been quite some time since I’ve been out taking photos, and I was lucky enough to venture to Phillip Island not too long ago. The weather was all over the place all weekend but between the rain and wind, I got a the chance to make every opportunity I could. Unfortunately while at this location, I broke one of my grad filters not concentrating on what I was doing! These things happen I guess and I know to be careful next time I’m out. With the advent of warmer months, I hope to get out more often and rediscover my passion for photography.
