✨ Meet Your Photographer! ✨
Hi, I'm Shelley—the person behind the camera, your unofficial cheerleader, and the one who will probably make you laugh before I make you pose. 📸😂
I'm a fun, energetic people person who believes the best photos happen when you forget the camera is there. My job is to make you feel comfortable, bring out the real you, and capture the moments where you’re actually having fun.
Whether it's your family, wedding, brand, babies, pets, or just because you feel like existing in photos (which is a perfectly good reason)—you bring the chaos, I’ll bring the camera.
I don't rush editing, I don't throw a random filter over your photos and call it a day, and I definitely don't charge you extra because you accidentally gave me 147 amazing photo moments instead of 20. 😂 You get the full story because these are your memories, not just pictures for my website.
A few totally random facts about me:
☕ Coffee isn't a beverage in my house. It's basically a life support system.
🏞️ If there's a river, mountain, paddock, beach, or somewhere that makes you say "are we sure we're allowed to go there?"... I'm probably interested.
👶 Newborn sessions are my weakness. Tiny humans, tiny toes, sleepy cuddles... basically impossible not to love.
🍰 Vanilla slice is the superior dessert. My husband calls it a "snot block". I have informed him that he is incorrect and possibly needs help. 😂
🤣 I will make jokes during your session. Some will be funny. Some will make you question my humour. Don't worry my jokes get better with time... maybe.
👨👩👧👦 I come from a big family, so noise, chaos, random conversations, and someone yelling "Muuuum!" from another room feels like home.
🐶 I’m obsessed with Rottweilers and cows. Yes, that is correct. No, I won’t explain. They’re just awesome.
🌏 I love learning about different cultures, traditions, and the amazing stories that make people who they are.
❤️ I truly believe photography is for everyone. Every body, every family, every love story, every pet, every culture, all the lovely little personality traits (yes, even that one). If you exist, your story deserves to be remembered.
And yes... these photos are of me. 😂 I convinced my friend Tegan to take them, then immediately forgot every piece of posing advice I've ever given anyone. Turns out photographers are also awkward when they're on the other side of the camera! Thanks Tegan—you nailed it! 🙌 And not Netflix Nailed It, although it's my face so the jury is still out LOL
So if you're thinking, "I'm awkward in photos," congratulations—we already have something in common and now you have no excuse, if I can do it so can you. 😂
