A little wedding booking FYI 🤎

I’m always so grateful when you enquire about having me document your wedding day but just a little reminder that wedding dates aren’t secured by an enquiry or quote.

Your date is officially yours once your contract is signed + booking deposit is received.

I also don’t chase or follow up on quotes. I know choosing your wedding photographer is a big decision and I want you to have the space to make sure I’m the right fit for you.

Until the booking process is complete, the date does remain available to other couples.

If you’ve received a quote from me and have decided you’d love to go ahead, please don’t leave it too long to lock your date in 🤎 and of course if you ever have any questions please send me a DM or email. 🫶🏼💍

For ever so long, you were someone they dreamed about.
And now you’re here. 🤎

The tiny hands. The sleepy cuddles. The way they look at you like they still can’t quite believe you’re theirs.

They’ll never be this little again. And somehow, these ordinary days will become the ones you’d give anything to step back into, even just for a moment.

Light changes. Weather changes. Moments change. So why should every photograph feel exactly the same on your wedding day?

When people ask me what my photography or editing style is, I sometimes find it hard to put into one neat little category.

Documentary? Mostly.
Editorial? Sometimes.
Light, crisp and clean? Absolutely — when the moment feels that way.
Dark, moody and full of shadow? When the moment calls for it.

Your gallery will always feel cohesive, with colours that belong together, but I don’t believe every photograph needs to be edited the exact same way.

Some moments deserve black + white.
Some deserve beautiful, crisp light.
Some deserve shadows, movement and mood.

Because for me, the way a photograph is taken and the way it’s edited should feel like the moment itself.

The light. The weather. The energy. The emotion. You two.

I’m not interested in forcing your story into a particular photography style just so everything looks the same on Instagram.

I want your photographs to feel like you.

And maybe that’s my style. 🤎

I think it’s safe to say… I will never say no to bringing your dog to your photos 😂🐾

The well behaved ones.
The chaotic ones.
The ones who refuse to look at the camera.
The ones who think the entire session is actually about them.

Because they’re not just the dog.

They’re there for the everyday stuff. The big life changes. The babies coming home. The kids growing up. The weddings. The quiet afternoons at home.

They’re part of the family and one day, having them there in your photos will mean more than you probably realise right now.

So yes. Bring the dog. Always bring the dog. 🐶🤎

STORY TIME 💍

This little gold ring almost didn’t make it home from Hannah + Ben’s wedding day…

While we were down at the beach taking sunset photos, Ben realised the sentimental ring he’d been wearing on his pinky was gone.

Our hearts sank, but Ben was so calm about it. As much as the ring meant to him, he didn’t want losing it to take away from what the day was really about marrying Hannah 🥹🥹

Then he said, “Can we look through your camera and see when I last had it?”

Suddenly my camera became CCTV.

Watching Hannah walking down the aisle ring there.
Hannah + Ben walking back up married - ring gone.

So we headed back to the ceremony spot, took a few photos under the most incredible pink + purple sky, then started searching the grass…

AND BEN FOUND IT. 💍

Right where they had stood and exchanged their vows. 🥹

And THIS is why I document everything.

Because sometimes a photograph isn’t just a photograph.

Sometimes it’s a memory.

Sometimes it’s a clue.
