www.chanelbaran.com I’m Chanel Baran, a passionate photographer based in the breathtaking landscapes of Cairns, Australia. My photography is more than just capturing images—it’s about weaving light, emotion, and energy into visual stories that resonate with the soul. From the lush rainforests and cascading waterfalls of Tropical North Queensland to intimate portraits and transformative retreats, my lens seeks to honor the beauty and essence of every moment. Whether I’m working with individuals, couples, brands, or creatives, I aim to create imagery that feels alive, ethereal, and deeply connected to nature and spirit. With years of experience behind the camera, my approach blends artistic vision with a heartfelt presence, allowing my clients to feel seen, empowered, and radiant in front of the lens. Photography is my way of celebrating the wild, the sacred, and the extraordinary in everyday life. Let’s create magic together. ✨

📍 Available for portrait sessions, retreats, brand collaborations, and nature-inspired projects.

Grace's Formal

This photoshoot felt like I stepped into a fairytale. Grace and Julia, your dresses were so beautiful! I love how they flowed and moved when you twirled. The gardens are always so stunning to photograph in.

Congratulations to you, Grace on your graduation from Grade 12. May you enjoy life and have a wonderful time walking your own path in life.

"Absolutely loved the photo shoot experience. Chanel Baran captured the vision I had for my formal photos so beautifully, and the whole process was relaxed, stress-free, and enjoyable. The photos turned out so amazing, and we couldn't be happier with them. So talented and lovely to work with. Highly recommend!" Grace Czernek 2026

I had such a great time with Petra and Chris from K9 River Retreat and all the lovely dogs today at our photoshoot. You two have poured your heart and soul into K9 River Retreat. Im so happy to help create some new and fresh images for your website and social media. What a wonderful place for dogs to come while their owners go away on holiday.

We had the lovely Chanel Baran, Photographer and Digital Creator at K9 River Retreat today! We are in the process of updating our website! Thanks Chanel, you are such an amazing photographer and such a beautiful person to have around our k9’s! Stay tuned!

I love getting my hair cut with Laura from . She calls these "Hair Love" Sessions. She is so great at cutting curly and wavy hair. She is all about loving your natural hair and getting your hair as healthy as possible. She is a total vibe! I have been seeing her for 2 years and my hair feels amazing and I love this style cut so much.

I also had a lovely surprise by seeing one of our images I captured from our maternity photoshoot printed HUGE on their wall. Made my heart sing. I love seeing my clients print and love their photos.

I love when my clients print out photos from our photoshoot! This looks so amazing in their house. So full of love. This photoshoot was one of my favourites as their connection and the love they share was so fun and so playful.
