💦🌿 Chasing waterfalls… and finding a little wonder along the way.

Over the past 18 months, I’ve been lucky enough to explore some beautiful waterfalls around Victoria, each one offering something a little different.

From the sound of water tumbling over rocks to the peaceful surrounds of the bush, there’s something pretty special about finding yourself in these places and taking a moment to simply appreciate them. 💚

Some have been powerful and dramatic, others quiet and tucked away, but every visit has been a reminder of just how much natural beauty there is waiting to be discovered.

So, I thought I’d put together a little reel of some of the waterfalls I’ve visited along the way. A collection of places, moments and memories that have made the past 18 months of exploring extra special. 📸💧

Because sometimes, the best adventures are the ones that remind us to slow down, look a little closer and embrace the wonder all around us. ✨

🌪️ Ever been driving through the Aussie Outback and seen one of these spinning up a storm?
Say hello to the willy-willy! 🇦🇺
While it might look like a mini tornado, a willy-willy is actually a dust devil. Instead of dropping down from a storm cloud, these little vortexes start right on the ground when the intense summer sun heats up the dirt and sends hot air skyrocketing upward. ☀️✨
The name itself has deep roots, tracing back to First Nations languages in the Pilbara region of Western Australia (like the Yindjibarndi word wili wili).
They usually only last a few minutes before burning out, but they are an iconic sight on any classic Australian road trip. 🚙💨

Where We Wander: Seaspray Edition 🌊🚶‍♂️
There is something incredibly grounding about the Gippsland coast. We started our afternoon with a fresh lunch overlooking the waves at the Seaspray Surf Club, before letting our feet guide us down the endless stretch of Ninety Mile Beach.
The reward at the end? The peaceful, glassy waters of Merriman Creek cutting through the sand to meet the strait. It’s the perfect mix of wild surf and absolute calm.

A little change of scenery.

We couldn’t get away this weekend with the renovations happening to our outdoor area, so a leisurely lunch at Seaspray overlooking the water was the next best thing. 🥂🍽️

Sometimes you don’t need a weekend away to feel like you’ve had a little escape — just good food, beautiful views and a moment to slow down and enjoy it all. 💙
