3 YEARS AGO TODAY — POSE 2023!

Throwback to this exact day in 2023! What an incredible experience it was being behind the camera at POSE, capturing the beauty, creativity and imagination of wearable art as it came alive on the runway!

Fashion shows and runway photography have always been one of my favourites. There is something magical about working with dramatic low-light conditions, colourful stage lighting and fast-moving subjects and as a photographer, the challenge is making sure every creation gets the attention it deserves.

Every outfit had its own personality, with incredible details, textures, colours and craftsmanship. And my job was to capture those details while also capturing the energy, confidence and movement of the models on the runway.

THROWBACK TO 2021 — WEARABLE ART CREATIVES!

Going back to 2021 when one of my photographs was proudly used to promote the Wearable Art Creatives 2021 Fashion Show! 📸
Leah Kim brought the character of “The Siren of Davey Jones Locker” to life, with the incredible creation and makeup by the talented Cassie Harris.
It was such an amazing night surrounded by incredibly talented creatives, stunning wearable art, and jaw-dropping designs hitting the runway. While everyone was enjoying the show from the front, DS Dragon Photography has best seat in the house — behind the camera, capturing the magic! 📸
Looking back, moments like this remind me why I love photography. It’s not just about taking photos, it’s about capturing creativity, people, passion, and moments that deserve to be remembered.

What an incredible day out in the countryside! 🤠📸
DS Dragon Photography had an absolute blast covering a beautiful country-themed Wedding alongside Chasing Dreams Photos by V. From the stunning dam reflecting the countryside, to the friendly farm animals, rustic old trucks, wide-open paddocks, and endless country charm, every corner was a perfect backdrop for unforgettable memories.
A huge thank you to Veronika Gibson for trusting DS to be part of the team. It was an honour to capture such a special day with an amazing team. Wishing the happy couple a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventures together! ❤️💍
