It was a cruisey ANZAC day yesterday.
Started early helping one of the gates guide people in the right direction to their respective dawn services.
Attended dawn service with my unit and then headed home for the best nap with my lady.
Went out for lunch and caught up with Lincoln Shephard for the first time in 12 years.

Finished off the day with some fast food and star wars. Stark difference to Anzac day in my 20s.
I hope everyone had a great day of reflection and catching up with old mates.

Well what an amazing long weekend it has been here in North Queensland!
This year Townsville and surrounding communities hosted the North Queensland Games which involved over 4,000 participants in 40 different sports, some from far away, remote areas of the country.
What a great boost for our local businesses and a fantastic opportunity for competitors of many different disciplines to test themselves and get their names out there.

I was honoured to take part in filming the opening ceremony, 9 sporting events, the community concert and the closing ceremony, as well as being responsible for the video editing.
I have a couple more events left to film over the coming weeks as well as the official NQ Games Promotional Video to put together.

Here is the current video, hot off today's 'press', for the screen at the Closing Ceremony.

Twas the midst of summer, on a not so distant island. 2 lovers prepared for the moment they say I DO.

This was a magical wedding on Beautiful Magnetic island. Such a intimate, homely feel, on a private beach with the water lapping agaisnt the rocks only meters away.

Jarah and Shaun, we wish you both a happy, long and fulfilling life together with your 5 beautiful and character filled kids and 3 overly excitable dogs.

Oh what a year for the adaptable creatives!

2021 was a full on year for Moments Media.
It was our biggest year yet for weddings and community event coverage.
We did a bunch of really cool photoshoots (not featured in this video) and collaborated with some other creatives to create SM content and adverts.
We filmed our first live musical concert and 2 dance concerts.
Helped create a single shot short film for an international film competition which made finals and won the actor an acting workshop.
We covered a self development retreat, and found ourselves entering the realm of local news coverage.

That being said, thank you to all you beautiful people who have supported Moments Media in 2021 and we very much look forward to what projects 2022 will bring.

Teachers have been marked for the Queensland Government's 'vaccination mandate' and after the 17th of December 2021 will no longer be able to provide your children with education.

This follows the mandates on the medical community and first responders, many of who are now without an income and a career that they had passionately dedicated their time to every shift.

These professionals were touted as heroes only a year ago and are now abandoned by their governing departments, employers and unfortunately some friends and family because they are standing strong against medical apartheid.

Ladies and Gentlemen of Australia, stand up, link arms, make your voices heard, for if you chose to do nothing now, your chance may never arrive again.
Enough is enough, it is game time.

When it comes to living life on your own terms as a free Aussie man or woman, certain things need to be fought for and effort must be applied.
One of those things is freedom of choice.
Whether it be freedom to shop where you want, eat what you want or choice of healthcare, your freedom should never be restricted by a government that is supposed to be serving those free people.

As the government throttles our freedoms, more and more Aussies stand up united and put actions into place to fight back.

Yesterday, (27th November 2021) well over 1000 North Queensland locals gathered in Townsville to walk side by side and express concerns, stories and action steps about the obvious overreach by our government bodies.

Our rally was part of a global movement to end this medical apartheid. Over a million Australians marched around the country and additional millions around the world moved together for one cause, FREEDOM.

To cap it all off we were united in signing 'I am Australian' which personally brought a tear to my eye.

As a proud Aussie and military veteran, this coming together of the community gave me a new sense of hope that no matter what evil they throw at us, there will be people ready to stand in its way.

What an absolutely epic turnout for today's Freedom Rally here in the beautiful, sunny Townsville!
The number of freedom loving patriots that turned up were easily somewhere in the early thousands.

The rally started with a ceremonial smoke cleansing and tribute to our land before marching from the Rockpool to the Ampitheatre where the speeches took place.

Half way along The Strand, the rally passed a jab tent, which added some comedic atmosphere to the chants.

There was lots of cheering, singing, clapping and passionate speeches.
Besides a couple of mouthy people mad at the fake news channel that were present, the event was a peaceful and happy one.

Townsville is awakening and the silent majority are finding their voices.
The segregation and discrimination that will result from and mandates will not be tolerated and we as free Aussies will be steadfast in honouring our human rights.

Stand strong Australia, Hold The Line!

We were recently blessed to join Kingpin for their halloween Dance of the Dead party (and 10 year anniversary) and boy was it impressive!
What a wonderful family of staff who obviously put a lot of time and heart into preparing the venue for guests and running the event so smoothly.

Thank you to Kingpin Townsville and the wonderful staff, the band, the 2011 jams and also CLIX Pix for covering the photography for the event.
