Congratulations to this dynamic duo, Jodie and Dwayne. What a beautiful wedding you created for yourselves — fun, heartfelt, and full of joy. I’m pretty sure those big smiles never left your faces all day and night.

There was so much to celebrate — not only your commitment to each other, but also the coming together of two wonderful families. And what a fun family you all are! The warmth and love you have for each other is very real and tangible!

I especially love the group shots — I’m sure these will be treasured for years to come. Even your little dog played the part perfectly in the big group shot… if you look closely!

I wish you both all the happiness in the world. I absolutely loved being your photographer and capturing such a special day for you both.

This gorgeous family has been with me right from the beginning—starting with their wedding and then every new addition along the way… now a lively crew of four boys!

I absolutely love catching up with them each time. The boys always come in with big hugs for Karen, and if one gets missed at the start, you can be sure there's hugs at the end.

Scott’s great sense of humour keeps every session interesting, while Zandra takes it all in her stride with her calm, friendly, and quietly efficient way—the same way she manages her four boys so beautifully.

And don’t you think they all share that same unmistakable family stamp? Such wonderful kids, living a truly great life thanks to the love and adventures their parents give them.

And this cute little tacker, Dustin, decided he was not missing a single moment of the action—wide awake the whole time! No sleepy newborn shots for this little guy… just bright eyes, curious looks, and plenty of personality already shining through.

It’s getting to that stage where I’m almost ready to be photographing graduation photos for the very newborns I once captured!

What an incredible full-circle moment that would be—and honestly, I really hope I get to see it happen. Watching families grow like this is one of the most special parts of what I do!🥰

I’m so excited to share these photos of my newest, cutest, adorable little granddaughter, Elsie Victoria 💕 Born on March 25th at just a tiny 4.9 lbs. She’s already captured all our hearts.

I think you’ll agree—Skylah and Tyler make truly beautiful children!

A few little issues to iron out in the beginning, but Elsie is now going strong and has everyone wrapped around her tiny fingers.
And don’t let her tiny, petite look fool you—she’s as robust and strong as ever.

Rhys is such a protective big brother, and Violet—well, I’m pretty sure she’d push Skylah aside if she could have her way, just so she could move in and be her mum!

Lots of love to this beautiful, growing family. I’m so proud of you all… and Skylah—you’ve handled the whole pregnancy, birth, complications, and the transition to a family of five with your usual “I’ve got this” attitude. Well done you! 💕👏

Well this little engagement shoot turned out to be quite the adventure!!!!

Hayley really wanted hers and Aubin’s engagement photos taken on her parents’ property in Bowen — the place she grew up, and where her horses are. I never mind a road trip, so off I went. The weather in Townsville was rainy and stormy, but Bowen seemed to be holding up… or so I thought!

As I drove further south, the windscreen wipers were on full speed. I slowed right down to 80km/hr through some pretty heavy storms and finally turned into the property’s turnoff when — uh oh. A fast-flowing creek. Not too deep, but definitely on the rise!

After a few phone calls back and forth, Nadine let me know there was “another way in” if I was up for it. This “other way” involved leaving my car at the next turnoff, walking over a shallow causeway, then trekking 1.5km along raised railway lines to meet Hayley waiting at the other end with the buggy.

No problem!
Well… maybe one little problem — my gear is REALLY heavy! Thankfully Aubin and Nadine gallantly carried my equipment along the railway line with me. Absolute legends.

And we still made it with plenty of time to capture these incredible shots on their beautiful family property — with Hayley’s horse, Spider, and their sweet dog, Demi.

What a wonderful family. Hayley, Aubin and I got on famously, which always makes a session even more special. I honestly cannot wait for their wedding!

And yes… every bit of that trekking had to be done in reverse to get me back to my car!!!!! 😅

It was truly a family effort, but absolutely worth it. The weather held out perfectly for us. We didn’t get many classic sunset shots, but those dark, stormy skies were just as dramatic and beautiful.

What an unforgettable adventure ❤️

Ezra James — you are a very, very special little miracle. You have made your mummy and daddy melt with love and happiness with your perfectness and your beautiful little soul.

Maybe you just weren’t quite ready to come earthside during all those years of waiting… but now — now is your time.

It has been such a special privilege capturing Emma and Josh’s very first family photos with their nearly four-week-old newborn son, Ezra. And he was the perfect little model — although I think that may have had something to do with the expert handling (and endless adoration!) from his doting mum and dad.

I am just so incredibly happy for this beautiful little family, whose journey to parenthood has been challenging to say the very least. It took 7 long years, so much persistence, and so much heartache — with multiple IVF attempts — before adorable little Ezra finally came along.

The way they look at their son says it all. That mix of incredulous wonder, deep gratitude, and overwhelming love — the quiet awe that they finally created this beautiful little man after everything they went through.

What a privilege it is to witness and capture a love so hard-won and so deeply cherished.💙

What an incredible family! Fun, cheeky, playful, and absolutely gorgeous to photograph. You can feel instantly how much family means to Kirran and Shane — it’s the heartbeat of everything they do and no matter what else is happening in their lives, it always comes back to family. That strong sense of love and connection is written all over their kids and now their grandkids, which is something really special to witness.

And honestly, with a big group, tiny toddlers, and a golden hour that disappears way too fast, I think we smashed it. We came away with some truly beautiful moments and playful ones as well. Always gotta look behind you when you're shooting to see what the bystanders are doing lol!!!! The little ones were absolute superstars — especially for such littlies!

This family reminds me a LOT of mine when we get together🥰

Playful, vibrant Gemma — it was finally your turn, and wow… you stepped into it with such style and class! I feel like I know the Gillinder family so well now, having had the joy of photographing Hannah and Connor’s formals before Gemma’s. And it’s not over for Anissa and Daniel just yet — with Abi graduating in just two years!

Gemma had an absolute ball during her session. We tried a few fun, slightly silly poses that felt goofy in the moment but turned out fantastic — and they definitely brought out some great laughs from Gemma.

And that dress! Just beautiful. We had so much to work with — and we absolutely made the most of it.

Gemma, I’m sure you’ll carve out your future with determination, joy, and that beautiful, big smile — it will take you a loooong way! Congrats to Gemma and her beautiful family!

Tahlia and Declan, graduating from Ryan, were an absolute pleasure to photograph with their easy-going nature and winning smiles — not to mention their effortlessly classy good looks!

And wow, Tahlia… what a stunning young lady. Those gorgeous sky-blue eyes paired perfectly with your sleek blue dress — simply breathtaking.

Formals are always such joyful occasions to capture. Families beaming with pride, students excited for the next chapter, and perhaps a little relief for parents as they loosen the reins just a touch. Congrats Renee and Matt on such a wonderful job of raising Tahlia and of course congrats to Tahlia and Declan.

Beautiful Lila, with her smouldering presence and unmistakable sense of style, also graduated from Southern Cross. With her love for the rainforest and a preference for darker, moodier imagery, we wandered into the shadier sections of The Palmetum to create those atmospheric shots she envisioned.

She absolutely mastered the moody look—then flashed that dazzling smile that lit up her gorgeous olive eyes. Her proud, happy family joined in to celebrate this milestone with her.
