In the midst of this digital age we all need to be considerate and responsible for what we post online. When I was growing up (in the ancient age of the 1990s) we didn’t have to worry that our youthful indiscretion or unflattering images would become immortalised online. However, thanks to smartphones, our stupidity, double chins and wardrobe malfunctions can and are instantly uploaded to the entire world, often without our consent. I challenge everyone to stop, think and ask permission before posting that “hilarious” photo because sometimes it may cause more damage than simply laughter. Be kind and considerate.
