I think the biggest feeling I get when receiving a family gallery of my own fam is: “gosh I LOVE my family!” I think it is one of life’s greatest joys getting to zoom out and look at photos and memories. It gives you perspective away from the day to day overwhelm and endless to do list and worries of “am I doing this parenting gig right?” Instead you sift through your images and think, wow we are lucky. So damn lucky to have each other.
And then you get excited that you’ve ended up with the most meaningful art to fill your home with!!

First day back at school for the kids and husband! My first mission of the day was to fold 37 baskets of washing. Do your kids go through more clothes on school holidays? It’s like a fashion parade everyday and if they’ve worn it for 5 minutes it goes in the wash so they don’t have to put it away. 😅
Enjoying the serenity before the chaos of after school sport and school drama debriefs resumes… and look at that -> I posted for the first time in a month!! 👏🏻💪
