Finally got round to taking some interior shots of the studio now that it’s totally finished and was clean and tidy enough for some 📸 . Still in love with this kitchen. Wish it was my real one in my house.

I love watching the sunset between the trees after a successful day cooking, styling and 📸. Millview has been busy the past couple of months and as a business owner it’s difficult to find perspective and time out sometimes. The tidal wave of work can be overwhelming and I mostly do this by myself. I have been trying to find snatches if time to just take a deep breath…… in, out, in out and ground myself again before moving to the next project or job! Am I always successful…. Nope but I’m trying 😏

It’s been a very busy month at Millview Studio this month and so many great clients I’ve had the pleasure of capturing starting with the beautiful Tammy from . We captured her wonderful range of supplements and I even learnt a thing or two in the process. Then a week away at the Gold Coast capturing the epic menu and being enthralled by the view! Working with long term clients where we captured so many fun drink shots and I helped style a new product range for . Keep your eyes peeled for the launch of those!! Rounding the month of with capturing a new product range for which is also launching very 🔜 (so good) and then a ready meal company which is top secret which will be launching into Woolworths hopefully by the end of the year! I can attest you’ll want some of these in your fridge/freezer when you don’t feel like cooking. Last but not least I captured some new recipe/ social media images for . A fun day always and something delicious for dinner that night! Phew! At the end of this month all I wanted to do was sit and watch the sunset which I got to do over the weekend. Tessa my faithful sidekick gave me some company while I took some deep breaths ready for the next hectic month!! 🌅

Early morning packing session for a big week away from the studio. Sometimes things align and I have a number of jobs away all at once and this week is one of those weeks. Lots of packing and organising and checking lists to make sure I have everything. A coffee helps rattle the brain cells back into place when it’s an early start!

Exciting things happening still here at Millview studio. Making the final finishing touches. I believe this is the last decorative touch that needed to be done! SHELVES!!!!!! I can’t wait to fill them all with plants 🪴 maybe a few cookbooks but mainly all.the.plants!

In the month of May we’ve had the pleasure of hosting a number of wonderful clients here onsite at the studio. Thanks to for popping in and letting me photograph your products and to for allowing me to shoot your product remotely! It’s been a big month and I can’t wait to see what June brings. It might be even bigger than May! 😻

Outside of the studio looking 😍 🍂 I’m not sure I’ve actually posted an exterior shot yet! The studio is one very large metal box! It was used as a metal forge before we bought our property and when we first moved in we had no idea what we were going to do with it. It’s double the height of a normal shed so that allowed us to mezzanine the top of it off and create the studio. Underneath houses our camper van and storage etc. we’re hoping to slowly cover it in this gorgeous climbing vine. It looks stunning as it turns red in winter.

Sneaky part of the studio is behind this wall in the corner. It’s not Instagram pretty BUT it packs the most practical punch! STORAGE! It was originally going to be a toilet there but since the space is compact I thought it might be a little *cough* personal to be so close to the kitchen area so that got scrapped but the wall had already been built out! So it conveniently became a storage spot for all my backgrounds and overflow of props and chargers and equipment. So it hides it all nicely I think? @ Millview Studio
