A special twist for Zoe and Luke’s wedding. Covid caused them to postpone their original 2020 wedding plans.. but they went ahead and made it official in secret anyway. On Saturday they had their friends and family gather for their ‘wedding’ only to announce that they had already tied the knot one year ago on that exact date. Although already married, they knew they still wanted the whole sha-bang. They wanted to walk down the aisle. They wanted that ‘first kiss’ while their friends and family cheered them on. They wanted to savour these moments by holding it still (that’s where I come in! 😎🤪) and an Irish band to dance the night away (which was Luke’s only request). This extremely relaxed day is truthfully one of the best wedding’s I’ve had the pleasure of photographing.

Under veil shots are a favourite of mine, but boy do they kill your arms. Shaun and Carly look absolutely gorgeous but behind the camera you would have found little old me struggling, camera in one hand, and Carly’s veil in other trying to battle the wind.

Carly + her best gal pals.

Her bridesmaids' superpowers included looking stunning and completely unbothered by Preston's brisk, windy Autumn weather. Carly has been best friends with these four gorgeous ladies since high school.. I don't know about you but I think that's pretty special! They're a testament to how good, true friends can grow separately without growing apart.

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Shaun + Carly tie the knot on Thursday at . Carly and Shaun booked me when I was first starting out in my career last year. I didn’t have much (if any) wedding experience behind me so I’ll be forever grateful to them for giving me that chance and trusting me. I can’t wait to share more from their day!
