I’m taking a moment to share one final image from Jake & Evie’s engagement session on their family farm. It perfectly sums up everything I love about photographing couples in settings that matter to them: timeless scenery, genuine connection and a sense of legacy. Watching these two laugh, explore and share tender moments in a place that’s been in the family for seven generations was a reminder of how powerful love and heritage can be.

Jake & Evie, we captured them walking toward the setting sun, hand in hand, ready for the next chapter of their lives. After five days of sharing the laughter, heritage and beauty of their seven‑generation farm engagement, I’m reminded of why I love what I do — documenting real love stories in meaningful places. It wouldn’t be a true farm engagement without the four‑legged friends who roam the paddocks. Day 4 is all about the playful moments Jake & Evie shared with the farm dog and the curious cows that wandered over to say hello. Whether Evie was laughing as the pup jumped into her arms or Jake was reaching out to scratch a bovine nose, these images show the relaxed, down‑to‑earth side of their relationship and the farm life they love.

I focused on the history woven into Jake & Evie’s story. This farm has been lovingly passed down through seven generations, and as Jake slipped Evie’s ring onto her finger beneath an old gate carved by his great‑grandfather, the weight of that legacy was palpable. Capturing moments like this — where history and future meet — is why I love documenting farm engagements.

The sun dipping behind the hills gave us the most incredible light for Jake & Evie’s engagement session. As golden rays filtered through the gum trees, they took a quiet moment together — just the two of them, the sound of birds in the paddocks and that warm country glow. These shots capture the timeless, romantic feel of their love story on a farm that’s been in the family for generations.

Jake & Evie’s engagement session takes us inside the old barns and out into the open paddocks. From sitting on hay bales while Evie showed off her ring to chasing their dog through the long grass, these two never stopped laughing. Every weathered timber board and rusted tractor told a piece of this seven‑generation family farm’s story — and made the perfect backdrop for their playful energy.
