Definitely a good couple of days for the 2900’s out west. 2906 “Ellie” on the Westlander at Charleville. 2902 and 2904, (2904, recently rebuilt from 2471), at Toowoomba station. 20th April 2024.

AC16 221a steams into Toowoomba station, whilst on transfer to the Downs Explorer at Warwick.

221a was towed from the Ipswich workshops in light steam, up to Toowoomba. From there, DH45 would have the final honours for the journey to Warwick.
