people often ask me why I started fmc.

the answer has never really been photography.

It’s more about the way I move through the world, feel everything a little more deeply, notice small details, subtle changes, the things that don’t ask to be noticed.

‘fika’ [fee-kah] in swedish, is the simple act of slowing down. of being present. of finding beauty in moments that might otherwise pass us by.

this business has been shaped by the places I’ve been, the people I’ve met, the horses I’ve known, and the opportunities that have found their way to me because of them.

Jumping Queensland has appointed official photographers for the 2026 Donovan + Co Queensland State Showjumping Titles .

Our approved media team will be positioned around the arenas and around the grounds to capture competitors throughout the competition, ensuring high-quality coverage of this premier event.

To maintain consistency, professionalism, and to respect the role of our appointed media personnel, any photographers wishing to operate at the event must receive prior approval from Jumping Queensland.

We appreciate the cooperation of all competitors and spectators in supporting our official photographers, who play an important role in showcasing our sport and its athletes.

The work has grown, the vision has sharpened, and the direction is clear ⚙️🌪️🎥

This year I’ve felt myself grow as a creative, pushing myself out of my comfort zone to learn new systems, techniques & take on every opportunity thrown my way and have really found my style in doing so.
co reflects where this business is headed - a refined approach to visual storytelling, grounded in intention, detail, and connection.

Alongside event media, our work now extends into content creation and social media management. Supporting brands, events and individuals not just in how they’re captured, but in how they’re experienced and shared.

The values that shaped The Fika Effect remain at the core of everything I do. Not a departure, but a natural progression.

2026 is already looking incredible, I can’t wait to share more with everyone soon x
