This well detailed Sandy Bay indoor pool was added to the clients home in a tricky corner of the site, adding a beautiful and well used amenity to the home - imagine swimming by moonlight.

It’s my birthday and Instagram now gives you a ‘birthday roundup’, which (because my birthday is 1 week into the new year) doubles as a lovely round up of 2025. Thanks to all the wonderful people I work with and family & friends for making this a brilliant year.
Can’t wait for what’s to come in 2026 🥳

Recently photographed: Burnie Ambulance Station, NW Tasmania.
Overlooking the Bass Strait, and adjacent to the North West Regional Hospital, this shoot was a significant undertaking both due to the buildings scale and positioning, its variety of aspects and importance of this building (and the advanced services it provides) to the community.
Including a large multi-bay garage, training and recreational areas, administration, and rest facilities for paramedics, communicating the buildings program, materiality and character was key.

Architectural photography takes me to some special places, this time to the top of Ben Lomond/turapina peak to capture the new public day shelter constructed by , who took the win at the award in their category this past weekend. The winds were reaching 100km that day which made shooting the exterior a challenge, but the interior was completely air locked and warm so I got to experience its thermal performance first hand 👏🏼
The shelter is designed by with artwork by .atelier
