Speaking of recent bushfires, the amazing speed with which nature heals its wounds is incredible. It has been perhaps a week since fires crossed Thunderbolts Way and razed the nature reserves and forests. Thirsting for new life, the delicate green stems appear where moments ago embers had glowed.

The smallest are often overlooked amid the calamity. The bees were popping in to have a beverage, escaping noonday sunburn and smoke hazards from the recent fires.

The last, and probably most dramatic of a danse macabre performed by an exceltional troupe. A big thank you to all who suffered grime, smoke and facepaint for a moment under the strobes.
