Last month I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon capturing the Bubbles and Blooms event by . Safe to say the vibes were flowing, the tunes were on point and the cocktails were going down a treat. Add in a dreamy picnic setup amongst the flowers and it was the perfect way to spend a golden afternoon 🌻

One of the things I love about offering a client wardrobe is that it removes the pressure of finding the ‘right’ outfits. Everything is thoughtfully chosen to photograph beautifully, so parents can simply arrive, settle in, and focus on soaking up these fleeting moments with their new little love.

This sweet family chose pieces from my client wardrobe and the soft textures and neutral tones let the connection take centre stage.

Just them, their brand new baby, and the beginning of their story.

I have so many shoots from last year to share, but I came across these and realised I never got around to sharing them.

We met at sunrise while the beach was still quiet, the sky slowly waking up and the tide leaving the most beautiful reflections behind.

Just the two of them, taking a moment to pause before life changed in the most beautiful way.

These fleeting chapters are always worth remembering.
Did you take maternity photos during your pregnancy, or do you wish you had?

Resharing these because I still adore this session and because it’s almost jumper season! Cooler weather is just around the corner and that has me so excited.

Why I love family sessions in the cooler months:

• Sunset is earlier and autumn/winter sunsets are something special - that soft golden light without the late bedtime.
• The changing colours of the season - warm tones, golden leaves and softer landscapes make for the most beautiful backdrop.
• Knitwear is back! Which means cosy layers and beautiful textures.
• The crisp air makes it perfect for lots of snuggles without getting all sticky and sweaty.
• Kids can run, play and explore without the heat slowing them down.

There’s just something about cooler weather sessions. The cosy cuddles, rosy cheeks, and families pulling a little closer together. It’s one of my absolute favourite seasons to photograph.

Are you a cooler weather person, or do you love the warmth of summer sessions?

Family sessions don’t have to be about standing still and smiling at the camera.

They can be about the giggles, the chaos, the cuddles, and the little moments in between- the ones that feel the most like your real life together.

If you’ve ever been unsure what to do during a session or worried you’ll be awkward, try a few of these simple things and let the moments unfold naturally.

The magic almost always happens there.

Save this for your next family session 🌞

If you’ve ever thought about newborn photos but quietly put it off… what’s been sitting behind that?

Is it the haze of those early days?
Feeling like you’re still finding your feet?
Not quite recognising yourself yet?
Waiting until things feel a little more ‘together’?

Becoming a mum, whether it’s for the first time or the fourth, shifts everything. It’s beautiful and tender and sometimes completely overwhelming.

Just know, it doesn’t need to be polished. Your home doesn’t need to be perfect. You don’t need to feel like you’ve got it all figured out.

This season is worthy exactly as it is 🤍

Want to know what a family session looks like with me?

Cue laughter, playful prompts, wholesome connection and a whole lot of adventure.

There are no stiff poses or forced smiles here. My sessions are centred around play-based guidance designed to bring out those genuine expressions and natural moments.

I’ll always encourage connection over perfection and invite you to step into your session with open hearts and no expectations.

Don’t get me wrong, I still offer plenty of direction… and I’ll always sneak in that classic portrait with everyone looking at the camera (because we know the grandies love those!).

If this sounds like your kind of session, slide into my DMs and let’s chat about capturing your family’s story 🤍

The newborn days are full. Full arms, full hearts and a blur you don’t realise you’ll miss until it’s gone.

Newborn sessions aren’t about perfection. They’re about preserving how it all felt. All the love, closeness, and quiet moments in between that make this season what it is.

Because this season is fleeting and one day, you’ll want to remember not just how it looked, but how it felt.

A dreamy maternity session from late last year that began in the golden glow of the afternoon sun and ended in the soft glow of moonlight.
Tender moments together, just before their family and their hearts grew by one.

Hello 🤍

It’s been a minute. Toward the end of last year, I took a step back from socials and allowed myself a much needed pause. The pressure to constantly show up and post consistently, while juggling business and personal life had become overwhelming.

That space gave me time to reflect and to look ahead at how I want to move into 2026: more grounded, more aligned, and more intentional.

What’s in for 2026:
– Slowing down and shooting with purpose
– Images that truly look and feel like you
– Letting go of the traditional and finding magic in the ordinary, everyday moments
– Making time to refill my creative cup
– Honouring my boundaries
– Doing more of what I love, even if it’s not “on trend”

What’s out for 2026:
– Self-doubt and comparison
– Saying yes when it doesn’t align
– Feeling guilty for resting
– The pressure to be “fully booked” at all times

This year is about growth - both professionally and personally.

I’m so excited to connect with like-minded families who value documenting the messy, imperfectly perfect moments of this season of life. To celebrate mothers in bloom as they step into this sacred journey, and to capture those fleeting firsts when new life arrives. I cannot wait to document the magic of life, whatever that looks like for you.

Thank you so much for being here. I hope this year brings each of you so much love, joy, and happiness 🤍

Golden evenings and endless giggles - that’s the simple kind of magic that childhood is made of. Days filled with slides, sunshine and belly laughs. Because the best moments aren’t posed or polished, they’re felt.
Wild, warm and wonderfully real.
