Over the past year, NWDS has been working together with Mick Woods, Turf Manager at South Tamworth Bowling club. We have been assisting Mick with the health of his bowling greens by using a combination of aerial photography and software originally designed for agricultural applications and has been fine tuned for Mick's bowling greens.
Here's what Mick had to say

The Accuracy of the reports provided have been excellent in a fine cultured turf scenario identifying millimetre variances with the surface and accurately identifying areas of poor health.

North West Drone Services are proud to announce range of new services. We now provide an aerial mapping service that includes volume estimations for stock piles as well as high resolution otho mosaics. This can be done efficiantly saving our clients both time and money in the field. A job that required days of measurements, calculations and man power can know be done in a matter of hours at a fraction of the cost. This allows our clients to be able to view results that have not been easily avaiable previously. Anybody with a computer can view high resolution images, make accurate measurements, elevations and navigate around large images with ease.
The images attached, are results from a recent job were the client needed to estimate the volume of two waste heaps to be removed from his land, 1 concrete waste and the other soil. Using the results our client could estimate the tonnage required to be removed and thus the costs required for the job.

We at NWDS are very excited as we have added to our list of services. We have included aerial mapping. This allows for hi resolution photography to be loaded into Google Earth and viewed directly on your computer. Now large areas can be viewed in ultra high resolution, zoomed in on to view fine detail and measurements taken. The applications for this technology are endless! Everthing from sporting venues to entire subdivisions in real estate development, any application where a current aerial view is required.
The following views are of South Tamworth Bowling club at various altitudes showing the high level of detail that can be achieved. These photographs were generated from Google Earth with our imported files.
