For a bride who loves getting lost in a good book and dreams of writing her own, where better to celebrate than the Book Barn? 📚🤍

Rachel is an avid reader and aspiring novelist, which made Bendooley Estate’s book-lined shelves feel especially fitting for her and Sam’s reception. With exposed timber beams, fairy lights overhead and pink flowers on the tables, it was a beautiful place to bring their favourite people together.

And Rachel’s talents didn’t stop at the written word. From playing the violin to joining Sam for their first dance, she gave us plenty of moments to remember.

Between the speeches, cake, laughter and a little browse through the bookshelves, this was such a joy to capture.

Day in the life of a wedding photographer… when I’m NOT shooting a wedding 📸☕️

Errand of the day: finally picking up the lens I’ve been eyeing forever, the Sony 28-70 f/2 GM 🤩

I told myself I’d wait for a big milestone before treating myself. Then I remembered how hard we’ve been hustling, and decided that counts. (Probably. Maybe. Don’t check my maths.)

To stop myself hoarding gear, my trusty, well-loved A7S III is off to a new home 🥲

Am I financially better off? Nope.
Am I emotionally happier? Absolutely. 😌

The rest of the day was calls from the car and back-to-back meetings at HQ. Full on, but I love it.

Something we really appreciate about Timothy & Yeeler is how intentional they’ve been about honouring God in their relationship. 🤍

Even after getting engaged, they chose to strengthen their physical boundaries rather than loosen them.

Not because it’s always easy, but because they want to honour each other and save that intimacy for marriage.

A beautiful reminder that love isn’t just about what we feel, but also the choices we make for one another. 🙏

Three generations married in the same church. What a beautiful place for Nathan and Joanne to begin their marriage. 🤍

In the Presbyterian church where Nathan’s parents and grandparents were married, these two continued a family story with Jesus at the centre.

Before they even stepped inside, their bridal party and family gathered to pray over them. That intentionality carried through a ceremony grounded in God’s Word, prayer and worship.

But the moment that really got me came during their speeches. Nathan and Joanne invited anyone who wanted to know more about the Christian faith to come and talk with them.

At the end of a day celebrating their love, they wanted their guests to know the One who first loved them.

Still gives me goosebumps. What a privilege to capture a wedding that so clearly points back to Jesus.

There's always something special about couples who choose to share their private vows after the ceremony. 🤍

For Sophia & Lachlan, it was a chance to slow down, step away from the celebration, and share a few words meant just for each other.
