Last night we hosted a meeting of the NSW Parliamentary Friends of Australian Music at NSW Parliament.

In addition to a stunning stripped back performance from ARIA Award winning and platinum-selling Coodjinburra artist, Budjerah, it was a night of conversation about the immense value of music to communities around our state, and was a chance to look at both where we’ve come from and where we’re going as an industry.

Thank you to our wonderful MC, Karla Ranby, the PFOAM Co-Chairs, The Hon. John Graham and The Hon. Ben Franklin, and ARIA and APRA AMCOS for co-hosting the event with us!

POV: you went to MusicNSW Social Club last night and left with a new friend & collaborator ✨

That was the vibe in the room at Alive music for Dead Set Legends where we hosted a listening party of unreleased music from Sydney’s women, trans, non-binary & gender non-conforming artist community.

Big cheers, belly laughs, social media exchanges, and love all around – this listening party was something special. Thank you to Dead Set for having us, the incredible JANNAH BETH for co-presenting, our showcasing artists for allowing us into your world, and everyone in the room for showing up and showing out! ⭐️

REMEMBERING THE TAKEOVER TOUR IN BANGALOW ⚡

Nothing cures the Sunday blues better than local, live music. Last month, our touring artists Serena Rose, Mopoke & Thirst Trap concocted a night of synth pop, psychedelic rock and reggae-influenced indie, reviving the dancefloor at Common People Brewing Co.

A huge thank you & congrats to our incredible mentor, Sophie Ryder (Flaming Heart Records), for bringing original music to the region, as well as to neighbouring venues, Bellingen Brewery & Sanctus Brewery, for hosting our amazing lineup.

We're on the home stretch now with our final two MUVE Beyond the Curtain shows taking place in Narooma and Tathra on the 23 and 30 October – get your tickets at the 🔗 in bio!
