In the Coptic Orthodox Tradition, the bride and groom enter the church together representing their path toward salvation together side by side. Rather than the bride being presented, the entering together focuses on mutual commitment. As they approach the holy sanctuary, they will eventually kneel before the altar wearing crowns showing humility, reverence and submission to God.
To enter together side by side as two walking toward God and exiting as one with the blessings of God behind them always in support.
