10 years ago Lady Medusa and I created magic with mylar. 💗

It's a little vintage glamour mixed with futurism, perhaps a Barbarella vibe.
This photoshoot was done in my tiny little apartment in Randwick. I didn't even have proper lights, I just used two canon spedlights. BUT, you know what? It worked because my vision as a photographer was filled with passion and creativity and I was excited. This is what learning and growing as a creative is all about - taking risks and playing. As adults we can forget to do that quite often. May this be a reminder to you and myself as well, to play more, get dirty, make mistakes and try new things.

Perhaps it’s time to roll out a whole lot of shiny once again. I'd love to do some more creative portrait sessions in this style.

On the road again! It's been a hot minute, but I'm excited to shoot in other cities around Australia again.
Catch me in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra in the coming months as well as some other possible locations added later in the year.
These sessions are very limited.
You are welcome to shoot with me whether you are experienced or have absolutely no experience as I'm able to guide you with how to prepare and also with posing.

The last two years were such a blur and I got pulled away from my photography work because opportunities that I couldn't pass up, opened up. I don't regret any of it for a minute, but I'm an all in kind of creative and I take my energetic and creative levels seriously. I hate spreadingyself too thin, I want to be 💯in and dedicated especially when working with others and especially when photographing them.
In the whirlwind that it was I took an extended break from Instagram and because of that I have so many beautiful portraits that I haven't yet shared.
This photograph is of the gorgeous Sarah and the shoot was a gift from her partner. Such a fun day and we got so many dreamy portraits.
I hope my clients always have beautiful memories attached to their photo shoots with me (and any other photographer for that matter), because I certainly do.

Happy New Year!

Hi from my all new bo***ir photography studio workspace. I'm almost done with all that needs to be done. There are always tweaks to be done though! I’ve photographed a few projects here already. There’s great light and the sunsets are amazing!

2023 was a big year for me, but a lot of what I did took me away from my portraiture. I really missed it, but also loved the opportunities that came my way. I am really looking forward to shooting new stuff this year with fresh eyes and implementing all the things I've learned on set and backstage.

As I have more studies this year I will have a very exclusive waitlist for shoots, so that I don't burn out. Comment below if you would like to be added and I’ll message you.

Moody blues 💙💙💙

I can't believe this shoot was a whole year ago. This day was a lot of fun and the results are just gorgeous.

My mental health took a dive during the multiple lockdowns. I questioned my purpose as a photographer and creative. What I bring to the table as a portrait photographer is hardly essential and with my self worth so entwined in what I 'do' I felt lost and not needed. I'm sure many other creatives felt this way during the last few years and everyone processed their experience differently. I retreated and started to feel like my art was irrelevant, frivolous and not important. I could expand on all of this, but I'm not sure it would help anyone. Weird times! Thanks to everyone that keeps booking me as a photographer. I appreciate your support more than you know!

Anyway, it feels good to be back doing makeup and hair and shooting with people. I'm excited to be learning all about wigs soon at NIDA as I have many ideas in that department. Would you purchase wigs from me if I started selling them on my website?

I'm currently casting models for several NIDA assessments throughout 2022. I require various models for makeup, hair and SFX/prosthetic work. Diversity in skin tones, gender, age and body size is encouraged.

Specifically, I need:

1 model for the 9th of June
3 models for my NIDA Assessment on the 27 of June
AND models for other dates later in the year.

These are paid castings - You have the option of receiving payment or an additional bespoke solo portrait session with me on the date of your choosing (includes hair and makeup styling as well as prints).
