At 6 months old, my daughter was changing so quickly and I realised I didn’t want to wait for the “perfect” time to document it all.
Sometimes the most meaningful photos are simply the ones that reflect this season exactly as it is.

The kind of magic you can’t pose 🤍

When I photograph children, I rarely try to control the environment. I let them settle in, explore the space, play, move, connect, and simply be themselves.
Because the most meaningful moments are almost never perfectly posed.
I always encourage play during my sessions, because childhood isn’t still it’s expressive and full of movement.
Those are the moments worth remembering 🤍

I won’t be running these this year as I’m currently on maternity leave, being in this season of motherhood myself has made me reflect and revisiting my past work feel even more special 🤍
This season of motherhood for me is already shifting my perspective in the most beautiful way, and I can feel how much it will continue to influence my work.

Within the serene and natural setting by the beach this joyful pregnancy shoot unfolded like a poetic ode to the beauty of creation.
The cliff wall’s weathered texture and earthy tones provided a stunning backdrop, symbolizing the strength and resilience of motherhood.
As the sunrise continued across the rugged beach cliff wall, a radiant expectant mother stood tall.

The most beautiful sunrise maternity session with a beautiful mum to be!
We met at 6am in the middle of winter for these photos and the results did not disappoint 🤍 I love the soft pastel colours that I get to work with at sunrise but they also go so quickly which makes each photo unique with the change of lighting that Mother Nature delivers.
