No perfect setup, no golden hour. Just whatever the weather throws at you and how fast you can react.

Bayside Blue. There’s a reason this colour became legendary.

The R34 GT-R is one of those cars that doesn’t need a perfect backdrop or golden hour light. Grey sky, wet track, doesn’t matter. It photographs itself. My job was just to walk around it slowly and not miss anything.

As a photographer, this was one of those cars I kept coming back to throughout the night. The colour, the stance, the way the event lighting hit the bodywork it gave me everything I needed. Sometimes you don’t have to work hard for the shot. The car does it for you.

The builds that stop you mid-walk.

FD RX-7 on the show platform unmarked 2026 and somewhere behind it, a Kenworth that had absolutely no business being that clean. That’s the thing about this event. You never know what’s around the next corner.

One car. Every angle worth keeping.

This R35 at Unmarked 2026 stopped everyone that walked past it, matte grey, full wide body, red underglow sitting low on the floor. The kind of build that doesn’t need to be loud to get attention.

Ahh Last batch of Photos!
Indoor car shows are one of the hardest environments to shoot in. Mixed lighting, crowds everywhere, cars packed tight. You have to work for every frame. But when the production is this good and the builds are this clean, the work pays off.

To everyone who brought their car out and the team behind unmarked this is what Australian car culture looks like at its best.

Still processing everything I saw at unmarked 2026.

You walk in and the first thing that hits you is the scale of it, the stage production, the lighting, the smoke sitting low over some of the cleanest builds in the country. Then you start walking and every ten steps there’s another car that makes you stop and pull the camera out.

What I love about an event like this is the variety. Full send drift builds parked next to restored classics, JDM icons next to European exotics, vendor stalls from brands that actually know what they’re doing. It’s not just a car show, it’s a proper celebration of car culture in Australia and it’s only getting bigger.

Another one in the books.
Round two unmarked hit different the kind of turnout that reminds you why this scene keeps growing. Row after row of builds that people have poured years into, tucked in a venue that made every shot feel like a poster.

Camera in hand, I chased every angle I could find. JDM icons parked next to american muscle, a couple of engine bays that had no business looking that clean, and builders standing by their cars ready to talk shop with anyone who stopped.
