DOGGONE - Rocky 2018
Another rescue dog I had passed away in 2018 from health complications. Rocky was saved with only 1 day notice in 2017 of being put down by its then owners and instead came to live a new life with support of a foster dog volunteer group. At 10-11years of age from what could be known, he was hopeful to live a few more years if lucky. He was a loving dog that only wanted people to like him and walk him. He needed training to be smarter and this was happening.
Sadly in late 2017 it became known he needed major surgery for cancer on his face and front paw, where he lost a paw due to cancer. This was a major change for him. Fortunately, the foster dog operation paid for his massive surgery bills.
He died June 1 2018 due to complications with medicines. It was hoped his last year of life was made better than his previous years, where he wasnt given such a fun life. The last photo is of him, around 1 minute after he died from a vet "sleep" injection.
