PureLight Photography PureLight Photography - capturing and interpreting light to create unique lasting impressions. So why the name PureLight Photography? Pure - unmixed or genuine.

As a printer by trade I have always had a strong association with colour. Colour by definition is 'the reflection of light that causes a visual sensation'. The skill of photography is about capturing and interpreting light. How we capture light will have an effect on the colours and final image we portray that will hopefully contribute to a visual or emotional sensation for the viewer. Each photo

is a unique or pure moment in time captured forever. It can portray beauty, emotions, feelings, history and so many other elements that will resonate with each individual. Light - luminous and radiant energy. Light brings things to life. The colours captured in a photo are a reflection of the energy and life at that time. The final part of this ties into my Faith as a Christian. John 8:12 states "I (Jesus) am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." Jesus brings a whole new meaning and depth to capturing Light. As Jesus is "the light or the world" I hope through this page, and by the images I capture, I can help to show a small part of His creations, beauty, personality and love for us all.
