Unfortunately I've not been doing much of anything lately with my photography. It's all to do with my feelings of anxiety and depression. I worry about being out doing what I love and ending up with Covid19. Even though I'm triple vaxed, I still worry about contracting it as there has been cases where people have been infected. In my heart I want to get out but my mental health is keeping me at home. We are going to Norfolk Island soon, so I'm hopeful that this will be the start of getting back my self confidence and get back to some form of normality.

Hi everyone,
With the coronavirus keeping us all at home, we aren't able to get out and do our photography like we used to. So I'm looking to do some painting, and no I don't mean the apartment 😊
I'm thinking about doing a landscape scene with some snow capped mountains and a stream etc, in oil paint. I really like the way Bob Ross used to do his paintings. So maybe I will try doing something like that. I have one of his books, so that can be a big help to me.
So the cameras are packed away for the moment but will be out again before we know it.

Hi everyone,
There's a wonderful lady who is a Sony user and you will love her as much as I do when you watch her vlog's on YouTube. She lives in Ontario / Canada and she is amazing. Her name is Rachel Lerch and I've watched loads of her video's. She is so passionate about her photography and lets face it, she lives in a spectacular part of the world and she is so inspired by the beauty she sees each day when she heads out, which inspires me as well. The world is a beautiful place and we should all look after it as much as we can before it's too late.
I found her by accident when I was looking up someone that was using a Sony A99ii camera, like me and I'm so glad that I did.
Do yourselves a big favour and check her out. You won't be dissapointed that you did.

What a great few days we had at Kims Beachside Resort at Toowoon Bay. The accommodation was fantastic with views straight out to the ocean and the food was amazing. I would recommend this place to couples wishing to be pampered and looked after to the max. Do yourself and your partner a favour and go for a couple of days. You will love it.

Hi everyone. Hope you are all well. I've got a Photography Event on this Sunday at Clarendon/Richmond doing a Show Jumping Event. I'm a bit concerned about the weather though as the BOM says that we could get 10mils of rain which would make it a bit dangerous for the riders and horses. I'm looking forward to it so I hope the rain doesn't eventuate.

I went to the best concert last night but unfortunately not as a Photographer. I had the pleasure of seeing Midnight Oil at Anitas Theatre in Thirroul. OMG!! The place was really rocking! It was the best live concert I've been to and believe me I've been to many. The Oils were at there best and so were the fans. We nearly lifted the roof off the place as we all sung along to every song. Midnight Oil are amazing. Keep on rockin guys.

I was heading down the South Coast one day and after doing a junior tennis tournament at Woolongong I decided to head to the beach at Port Kembla and came across some surfers. This guy was very impressive with his 360's. Hope you like the pics. Stan Simpson

I've been taking photos since I was 14 and after completing a variety of courses learnt the importance of setting the camera to manual mode and taking control of your camera.
I've done Weddings, Family Portraits, Events, Macro (which I'm still learning about) and Landscape Photography.
I'm presently doing Event work with GeoSnapShot, which I'm really enjoying. I've done mainly Equestrian and Tennis with GSS and a mixture of other sports like Soccer, AFL, Grid Iron and Judo.
I'm interested in getting back into doing Family Portrait work. So if there is anyone interested, please don't hesitate to contact me via Stan Simpson Photography.🙂
