The «Midday Sun».
What is the best light to shoot in? Hands down, near sunset and sunrise – whith that soft, gentle light, glowing tones, and the most flattering shadows – it’s every photographer’s dream.

But midday? Especially in Sydney? That is a completely different story. It is harsh, inflexible, and incredibly hard to tame.

The reality of running a photography business is that sometimes our guests’ schedules don’t leave us much choice. We have to make it work.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous for this shoot. Taking a couple to the Sydney Opera House with the sun blasting directly overhead truly put all my skills to the test. There was nowhere to hide, no soft clouds to save us – just raw, unforgiving light.

I guess I am screwed then! Please comment something below - let’s keep this page alive! I have so many awesome shoots to share with you, but last month ended up being a bit too busy to even catch my breath. I’m honestly so glad my work gives me this much joy!

Just look at these beautiful girls! We had so many laughs during our shoot. I swear, a city session is such a cool way to spend time together – whether it’s to celebrate a birthday, a bachelorette party, or just because.

I truly believe every woman deserves to be admired – not only for what she does for others, but for exactly who she is in this moment.

I’ll be honest: I spent way too long waiting for the “magic moment” for everything to be just right. I was so worried about having a perfectly uniform Instagram grid that I almost missed the opportunity to just create. (Hello to all my “all or nothing” people out there!).

But here’s the truth: Life isn’t a uniform grid. It’s a “disjointed salad” of messy, true, and beautiful moments. Some days are bright and airy; some are moody and quiet. I’ve had to acknowledge that with my style, my vision, and my constant need to experiment, that “perfect” time may never come... and if I wait, I’ll miss the opportunity to do what I love: capturing your little and big moments.

In the age of AI-generated perfection, I’m choosing the human mess every single time. And if I proclaim that for others, why not practice what I preach?

Maybe I won’t ever have a perfectly uniform, magazine-like feed, but I surely hope that each of your shoots will be album-print worthy. I want your gallery to feel like your favorite grandma’s photo album - full of soul, memories, and real life.

If you’re after genuine moments and the beauty of the “in-betweens,” then maybe I am your photographer after all?
