One thing I really love about Brazil is how people deliver their service. They use friendly, techy, and funny ways to pay, super affordable and show so much care.

A bit of Brazilian 🇧🇷 taste

06/01/2026

Today, I spent several hours driving with my boys to my favorite place in Brazil—my grandma and great-grandma’s hometown. It’s the place my heart has longed to be for the past year and seven months since my grandma passed away. Yesterday, I released all the emotions I had been holding onto with some loved ones, preparing to be completely present today. I made space in my heart to embrace my life choices, accept the feelings of being an expat during loss times, and finally allow my grief to settle in. Here is where inspired me to begin photographing, over 30 years ago..
Soon, I will share more about my roots and background, the art legacy and heritage that have shaped my life’s purpose and how I see life through my lens.
