Cross posting your content doesn't have to take a lot of time. Clever people have created several time saving apps that will not only adjust your content to suit each platform but also schedule the release as well. Awesome!

❤️ To the left, to the left! ❤️

Welcome to my fourth and final tip for shooting people in direct sunlight - Beyonce approved.

This time your subject stays where they are and YOU MOVE to the left or right so that the sun is not directly shining into their eyes.

Sounds simple but what if the background is whack when you move? Well, you can switch to portrait mode if you have an iphone to blur the background or fix it in post-production with a fancy app or just be ok with the result.

🚐 Come away with Lee 🚐. Part 003: Kandos & Kangaroos

In the real world I am off to celebrate the last day of work today but online I am continuing the adventure with you all.

Near Ilford is the town of Kandos and I have always immediately felt at home here. The people are warm and the local charity shop is literallly off the chain! I am still dreaming of the cut glass decanter I found 😊

Back at the farm I am enjoying my new neighbours, the kangaroos. They arrive for sunrise and sunset and fascinate me endlessly. What a mystery they were to the early settlers with their long tails and joey pouches. Beautiful, fun, tenacious and skittish.

No, not the kind that Elizabeth Bennett & Mr Darcy dance in Pride & Prejudice. I'm talking about the social media phenomenon - short form video content taking the world by storm.

Reels are easy to create inside your apps making them user friendly tools to improve reach, drive traffic and fortify brand awareness.

Hope from is using this storytelling opportunity brilliantly to build instant connections with her audience on top of her scheduled regular content. In fact, it is working so well that she has sold out of her Xmas treat boxes!

Whether it is capturing the sunrise, cheering the matilda's or promoting her products, we get to know Hope better with every video. That type of instant connection is fast becoming the words favourite way to 'be entertained'.

New platform, who dis?

Continuing our deep dive into cross-posting your content.

We discovered last week that reviewing and adjusting your copy makes sense. This week I want to find out if the same applies to your images?

The answer is YES - it definitely pays to tweak your visuals so you can keep content fresh for people that follow you across platforms and allow you to quality control images so they don't get stretched, squished or pixelated.

However, where platforms are quite similar, there is no reason why you can't repurpose your content ie. cross-post your reels on YouTube Shorts, TikTok & Instagram to reach as many people as possible.
