Last week in a small spell of cloudless skies and Autumn weather that was cold but still held the warmth of the ocean, we met beautiful expecting mum Nadia and her lovely husband Dave. The sun had not yet risen when we began photographing, but from start to finish the session was magical. Though maternity shoots tend to be more guided, we had talked with Nadia about a candid style of session, where as much as possible we could step back and document, rather than direct. What we ended up with was a series of photos that witness those organic moments of laughter, tenderness, stillness and connection. What a beautiful morning- we wish Nadia and Dave all the best with their baby!
