An insight into how a phtographers mind works :-)
Playing around with an old photo to finally get the image I had in my eye when I took the photo. It as a snappy 5 minutes in lightroom on a jpg file that already had a watermark. The leaps an bounds with our editing software is amazing. Doing it properly from the original RAW file will be great! The design is for a fullscreen image with a hint of a horse.

Hey there,
Hoping that you good folk can help me out. You may have seen some of my bird and landscape photos from Qld. Many of these were taken on an amazing half million acre cattle property in the Gulf Country. These wonderful owners are now looking at opening their property for eco tourism to small numbers of people. If you love travelling to remote areas, birdwatching or just camping and enjoying nature can you please take a few minutes to answer a few questions. This will help the owners determine the direction they will go with helping people visit this wonderful area.
If you're travelling across northern Qld from Karumba to the Northern Territory this is only under an hours detour off the road from Four ways to Gregory.
Keep in mind that the remote camping locations mentioned in this survey are an hour to 3 hours from the homestead so safety factors are paramount and it isn't just a trip down the road to clean the campsite for you :-)
Please pass this on to any of your camping, traveling or birding friends local or overseas that like an adventure. The more replies the owners get the better they can direct their energy into creating an experience that people want.
I have attached a short video from the station to give you some context and the survey link is below as well.
Thanks again so much!!!!!!

After the most ridiculous, painful and non healing foot injury kept me out of action for the best part of a year I’m finally back. Work, physio, an inability to go on site for shoots, and yet more work saw me with very little opportunity to shoot photos or edit them.
Last weekend on a short trip away we stopped at Ariah Park, just as the storm rolled in to the north. With the area losing power, we just sat on the verandah at the Ariah Park hotel while I tried out the lightning tracker. Not too shabby for my first attempt at stacked lightning images. Taken over a 40 minute period this photos depicts the sheer volume of lightning strikes that were going on. No wonder power was lost and the RFS were out then in and then just as quickly out again to calls.

This popped up on my feed today - quite thought provoking. What do you photograph for yourself?

There’s a great quote - “the best camera is the one you have at the time”. Yesterday a friend trotted up with her other mate on the lead and asked if I could take a pic - all I had was the phone, so that how the photos were taken. Keen to attempt a phone only photo shoot the edits were done on the phone as well. Enjoy.

Wyong police station are creating a history mural. Does anyone have older photos from Wyong/Toukley/the entrance of people(staff), cars or buildings? As these are being enlarged we need high res not just Facebook pics as FB decreases resolution automatically. Feel free to show pics here but send higher res to [email protected]. Many thanks
