Between work, COVID restrictions and Uni commitments I haven't had a lot of time for photography of late. However, I managed to steal some time to edit the photos from my recent hiking trip through the Warrumbungles National Park.

It was truly amazing, despite the mouse plague raging at the time... If you look closely, you can see where we pitched our tent for the night in the valley below. it was a two-day return hike to shoot the breadknife at sunrise, but it is a must-see formation if you're ever in the area!

The recent long weekend marked the date for my first camping trip of the year. Two nights at Chichester State Forest with friends, and it did not disappoint. I took the opportunity to duck out early for some photos of the waterfalls on the Allyn River. It's good to be back!

Looking forward to my next trip into the outback.

I'd love to say that I planned this photo. That I had carefully selected my location based on the sun's trajectory in an effort to perfectly align the silhouette of Kata Tjuta in the distance. Alas, it was simply a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Sometimes you just get lucky I guess!? 😁
