Our Saturday and Sunday looked a little different last weekend @ Steampunk Goulburn
As someone who likes avoiding unwanted attention, stopping off at Sutton Forest for petrol felt a bit odd with all the dress ups!
Blending in was definitely the right choice. And fun!
But our costumes were nothing compared to these talented legends who won or got commendations for their amazing costumes and characters!
Also perks of working with your husband is unintended BTS, having coffee together and always having a lunch buddy :)
But the BTS I have of him is more like playing ‘Where’s Wally?’ while I cull rather than impromptu BTS
So let’s play ‘Where’s Jarrad?’ together!
Hmmm…
This one at the Grand Teapot Races is easy
These two are for the seasoned pros
Comment if your OCD needs answers
Probably the best BTS shot
And on slight a technical note, the light changed sooooo much throughout the day which was both challenging and helpful to vary our shots
I packed the bounce/reflector on a whim and even though it was only used for this key interview with Miss Twisted , it was super handy to have!
Also we don’t know who this guy is
He just started filming on his phone mid shoot and then left
Hopefully he got some good BTS too
Covering the Banquet at Goulburn Brewery after the events of Day 1
The brewery is newly renovated and the sun was popping so you can bet we were frothing at the opportunity to get good footage!
Not pictured - the sunburn from day 1
And thank you to Miss Twisted for these photos. We rarely get good photos together when on the job. Now we can show our daughter evidence of us being cool parents!
Functional and fashionable
Turn your phone to see Goulburn Brewery & spot another hidden Jarrad
Day 2 of Steampunk Goulburn
Did someone ask ‘Where’s Jarrad?’
We finished the event by stamping some leather mementos to gift to our little kiddo
By this point were happy, tired, ready to have our second coffee and oh so ready to hug our cheeky girl!
I loved seeing all the creativity, passion and community presence for Steampunk in Goulburn
Also loved having random friendly chats with patrons who came from near and far (e.g. Melbourne?!), staff, stall
