Andy & Jennifer - Sharing the World

Andy & Jennifer - Sharing the World We're Andy and Jennifer, two corporate types who chose to prioritise experiences over stuff while chasing our passions of travel and photography.

We've been to over 90 countries and territories, and we love sharing the world that we've captured in pixels.

Gotta love wildlife experiences that happen right in your own backyard.

We set up the trail camera in a giant cypress pine near the dam, and this is one of the sweetest moments it has captured so far.

Episode 3 is live!

After seeing 17 of the world's 18 penguin species, we're sharing the penguin destinations we'd happily return to... and a few we'd leave off the itinerary.

We also confess how much we spent to see one particularly remote species, and explain the completely ridiculous "travel math" that convinced us we were actually saving money. 😅

Episode 2 is live!

In our latest YouTube video, we're sharing our favourite big cat experiences, from the lions and leopards of South Africa's MalaMala Game Reserve to the jaguars of Brazil's Pantanal, plus one famous tiger destination that didn't quite live up to our expectations.

Would you scuba dive with sharks? 🦈

Throwback to Tiger Beach in the Bahamas - wherr we sat on the bottom of the ocean as a dozen tiger sharks swam around us.

Sharks are vital apex predators that keep our oceans healthy, and they need our protection now more than ever.

Happy Shark Awareness Day.

Absolutely thrilled to make the top 30 in this year’s Australian Photographic Prize bird category.

The image is from our trip to the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary, where we had this outstanding sighting if eagles fighting over fish.

🐻 We finally did it... our first long-form YouTube video is live!

It's the start of a series where we're sharing what we've learned after chasing wildlife all over the world. This first episode is all about bears, comparing our favourite experiences in Alaska, British Columbia, Churchill and Svalbard.

And yes... "bear" with us while we get used to being on the other side of the camera. It's definitely outside our comfort zone, but we're having a lot of fun figuring it out!

One of the coolest wildlife encounters on the planet: Hanging with the meerkats at Makgadikgadi Pans in Botswana

These meerkat groups have grown so accustomed to human presence over years of gentle habituation that you can sit right beside them at sunrise, watching the colony emerge from their burrows to sunbathe and warm up before the day’s foraging begins.

Our guide told us that it’s not unusual for a meerkat to briefly use a visitor’s head or shoulder as a lookout post while keeping watch for eagles and other predators. Andy was the chosen one.

Fun fact, did you know that World Meerkat Day was founded at Taraonga Western Plains Zoo in 2018?
