Performing Artist 3: Giddy

Giddy performed an intimate, lyrical, and delicately stripped- back set which was full of stories of vulnerability, healing, and finding beauty in the cracks. The audience were wrapped in her ethereal vocals tone that lingered long after the last note making us feel like a fairy was singing her lullaby to us at the night of Basain.

Artist 2: Utsav

With haunting chord progression and playful melody , Utsav’s set at Basain was a treat to the ears. His playful lyricism and deep vocal tone captivated us all in and made us sway along.
The singer/songwriter concluded his set at Basain with surprise performance featuring Prazita.

Having heard this duo , it didn’t feel like they were collaborating for the first time on stage of the Basain . Setting a perfect tone for the night , the duo performed a raw and vulnerable set making the audience tear up .

The final act for the night , the duo conveyed a soulful and vulnerable set with raw story telling about inner journey , immigrant struggles , fleeting nature of life , death and its unpredictability.
They concluded the night with the song “Basain” as an ode to everyone who were present there .
