Some scenes from ‘The land of the 10,000 waterfalls’
Last time I was there, I got to see a few waterfalls. My favourite waterfall is the first image and it was spectacular to see. Amazing the amount of water these falls have coming over them fed by glaciers. Skógafoss, Goðafoss, Aldeyjarfoss and another one near Hvitserkur.

Have shot there alone and with some very knowledgeable friends and it’s a place to not be taken lightly. Either the northern and southern ends provides an abundance of compositions. What a stunning place.

This was such a refreshing place to be and shoot. I would love to walk around the lake one day. It was so quiet here too. Amazing.

Here are some shots from the air over the years. The first one is from this storm coming into Nelson Bay a few years back and I took my Mini 2 at the time about 2kms off the coast and high enough to capture this pano, the drone barely made it back. The third shot is right after some huge floods wheeze the flood water was mixing with the ocean at the entrance. It’s amazing what drones have brought to photography.

This was taken from the air (obviously lol) just north of Lake Tekapo. We got all the way down to the water and it was so quiet that I could hear my drone nearly 1km away.

The silence in NZ at some locations was something so damn special. Funny when growing up the silence was too loud for me (if that makes sense) and now the sound of silence isn't enough at times.

This would have to be one my all time favourite drone shots I have captured.

Ideal conditions this past Sunday at the lowlands. Amazing morning before heading back over to NZ.

We’ve got some amazing conditions here so looking forward to sharing that work. Taking a group over in 2 months also for a spring shoot. Cant get enough of this place.
