What in the world is going on here?

This crested horn shark was caught red handed stealing a port jackson shark egg. An easy and nutritious meal for them, unfortunately for the PJs.

Port Jackson Shark season is nearly here (if not already). Soon they will be here with massive numbers in Cabbage Tree Bay. It’s not uncommon to see 30+ individuals in a single dive!

Cuttlefish are colourblind - yet they are able to produce some of the most vibrant colour displays anyone has seen underwater.

If you’re lucky and you come across an interacting pair in the shallows on a sunny day, the colour becomes even more intense. Hard to believe this is real; a reminder that nature is truly a gift to us all.

The power, the thrill and pure awe. My favourite part is watching their eyes tracking you as they swim past, unbothered by our presence. Co-existence.
