What an awesome experience to fly over the WaterNSW Copeton Dam spillway in all its epic action on Sunday afternoon.
Located just outside Inverell, this is the first spill for the dam in almost ten years. With the dam full, and continuing inflows of over 10,000 megalitres per day, the spillway appears in great condition and is certainly attracting crowds of locals and visitors to admire the power of the water.

Out and about yesterday on a shoot for a property development project, helping their buyers understand the local area and where their block is situated.

The DJI Mavic Mini is quite handy for these jobs, being ultra light weight and low impact, ideal to fly in urban environments where ultra high detail isn't necessarily needed.
Struggles a bit in the stiff breeze though!
