It' already a known fact that I will do just about anything to convince you to bring your furry four legged friends to our sessions together if it's possible! But what's less known?... It’s feeling so chilly across Sydney right now with all this rain that it feels like we’re entering Autumn again to prepare for winter! It’s got me reminiscing on Jenny and Lawrence’s Autumn session. They may not look chilly, but trust me it was! I was all rugged up in my puffer coat behind the camera as these two braved the chill 😅😂

Sometimes there’s just no better explanation than right place at the right time.
One day I was at Bradley’s Head enjoying a picnic before doing a couples session later on in the day, and so I was sitting and enjoying the view of the harbour when we noticed a couple were walking out to the end of the rock jetty. They were dressed really nicely for their seemingly casual date together, we also noticed that the guy looked quite nervous and we joked that maybe he was going to propose to her. So just in case, I got my camera ready and just like that, he was down on one knee and everyone else enjoying their picnics in the amphitheatre were cheering and applauding her resounding YES!! 😍🥰
I went over and congratulated them both and let them know that I happened to capture the moment, we exchanged details and I later sent them these photos. That was a happy day 🥰

While I was out and about Sydney this “freedom” weekend, I wore my freedom hair clip as it seemed perfectly fitting for the occasion. Only the freedom it represents has nothing to do with coming out of lockdown at all. It’s about ending human trafficking, and that begins with all of us choosing to fight for freedom.
Do you know what human trafficking, aka slavery is in this modern day and age? Slavery is when a person is owned or controlled by someone who is exploiting him or her. Whether it’s men forced to work, children in sweatshops, children being sold or traded, women in prostitution or girls forced to marry older men. They no longer have a choice. They no longer have freedom.
So when you book photography with Flavell Studios, you’re officially supporting the cause as well as I will be donating a percentage to Be Hers Foundation who are fighting for freedom and funding projects that matter.
